Season of mists and mellow fruitfulness

The Millevaches Regional Nature Park has something to offer all year round and right now, take a short stroll and you are literallly stepping on sweet chestnuts and stumbling across the most amazing edible fungi like this fellow. The treasured boletus edulis (penny bun, cep, porcino or porcini).

A little earlier in the year the super-keen fungi finder will be rewarded with cantharellus cibarius, commonly known as the chanterelle, or girolle. Come and stay with us in Autumn and healthy walks in this beautiful landscape will reward you too.
