Fall in love with the Limousin

Autumn is surprisingly warm and the colours are unbelievable. Hazel and chestnut abound here and in the fall they form a wonderful woodland carpet. Hazelnuts are of course the most important ingredient in Gateau Creusoise. It's a local, traditional recipe which legend says was found on a parchment in the fifteenth century by monks in the Creuse.
